National College has been offering career programs for the citizens of Lynchburg and surrounding areas since 1979. Continued growth resulted in relocating the campus to its present location in the Timberlake area in 1991. Located just off Business Route 460 and north of Greenview Road on the southern edge of the Hill City, the facility offers a modern, pleasant learning environment.

Promoting Diversity

On Thursday August 26, 2010, Admissions Representative Crystal Souder (right) of the Lynchburg Campus met with two potential international students, Issac Tatagiri (left) and Gin Philip (center). Both Issac and Gin are interested in the business administration degree programs. They are from India and Saudi Arabia respectively. The increasing international population on the Lynchburg campus promotes diversity and awareness. These students are interested in small class sizes, personalized attention, convenience in scheduling, and availability of staff to assist them as needed. We wish them the very best in their endeavors for the Fall Term.

Directions to Lynchburg

From Amherst (North), Follow 29 South, which turns into 501 North to Exit 10B (460 West Business, Timberlake Road). Once on Timberlake Road go through 4 traffic lights. Candlewood Court is on the right side of the road at the fifth light (between Wendy’s and a bank). Take the second drive on the right to National College.

From Bedford (West), Follow 460 to the 460 Business (Timberlake Road) exit. Once on Timberlake go to the 8th traffic light and turn left onto Candlewood Court (there is a Wendy’s and a bank). National College is the second drive on the right.

From the south and east, Follow 460 W to the "Airport Road to Greenview Drive" exit (there is no exit number). Turn right off the exit ramp. Go to the second light (at Kentucky Fried Chicken) and then turn right onto Timberlake Road. Turn left onto Candlewood Court at the second light. National College is the second drive on the right.
