Cooperative Efforts

Representatives of local agencies including Transition Resources and the Department of Family Resources were warmly welcomed as the South Bend Campus hosted its first agency breakfast. Regional Director of Agency Development Michael Lyons and Campus Director John Herman shared valuable information to the agencies about the features and benefits of National College. Gayle Silver, liaison for the South Bend Community School Corporations’ Adult Education program, noted how impressive the new campus is and agreed with our mission of providing students a high quality education with the “Get In, Get it Done, Get a Career” philosophy. Deb Halpin from Goodwill Industries informed the Campus that Goodwill provides 75% tuition assistance and an additional scholarship to students. The breakfast was a huge success and the continued cooperative effort between the Campus and these local agencies will provide added benefit to the students at National.
